Is my video uploaded to a server?
No. Frame extraction runs entirely in your browser: the video is decoded by the browser itself and each frame is drawn to a canvas. Your video never leaves your device.
How are the frames chosen?
Pick a frame count — 6, 9, 12, 16 or 24 — then choose Even Intervals to space them evenly through the video, or Scene Changes to favour the moments where the picture changes most.
What format are the extracted frames?
Frames are saved as JPG or PNG images depending on your selection.
Can I download all frames at once?
Yes. A ZIP download option is available after extraction.
How many frames can be extracted?
Up to 24 per run. Scene Changes mode samples the video far more densely than that in order to score the frames, so it takes noticeably longer on a long video.
Is the tool free?
Yes, completely free. No account or watermark.
