In 'Fit to the page' mode it is scaled down to fit inside the margin you chose, keeping its proportions; small images are never blown up.

Set Images to 'Page matches the image'. Each picture becomes a page of exactly its own shape with no border — the usual choice for scans, screenshots and comics. Image scale then decides the physical size: at the default 150 DPI a 1240 x 1754 scan comes out as a true A4 page, while 72 DPI gives the largest sheet and 300 DPI the smallest.

A .txt is laid out exactly as it was written: every line break in the file is a line break on the page, and lines are never re-wrapped. If the file was hard-wrapped at some column, the rest of the width stays empty. Switch Text layout to 'Reflow paragraphs' and the lines are joined back into paragraphs, which typically cuts the page count by about 40%. Leave it on 'Keep line breaks' for poetry, song lyrics, tables and code, where the breaks are part of the content.

Basic layout, headings, lists, tables and inline styles are kept. External stylesheets, scripts and web fonts are not fetched.
